Certified Nurse Aide Class 

Certified Nurse Aides are in demand. Become a part of the challenging world of health care. This course will prepare the students for care of the ill, disabled, or elderly person in the nursing home or hospital setting. Students are eligible to take the state certification nurse aide test after successful completion of the 90-hour class. This is a blended course with online and face-to-face components. Selected readings and student assignments are online. Discussion and skills are addressed during face-to-face clinical sessions at a facility designated by òòò½ÎÑÊÓÆµ. Students must be able to access the Internet to obtain and complete course assignments by due dates.

Performance Requirements: Students must be able to demonstrate the ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds. Students must be able to communicate/ consult with patients in order to understand the patients' needs.
