Federal Tuition Assistance is a Department of Defense program.

The Department of Defense (DoD) Tuition Assistance (TA) program provides tuition assistance to service members for voluntary off-duty education programs in support of professional and personal self-development goals.

TA varies by branch of service and can even vary between components within the branches depending on whether the service member is Active Duty, Reserve, or National Guard.  If a student qualifies to receive both VA benefits and TA benefits, some duplication of benefits may not be allowed.

For help with choosing your education pathway, please visit with a counselor at the Education Service Office on the Fort Riley base:

If you are a member of the Army military branch, you can establish an account and apply for Federal Tuition Assistance with ArmyIgnitED.

Note: There are requirements that need to be met in order to qualify for Tuition Assistance. CCCC will proportionally return any unearned Tuition Assistance funds to the Department of Defense through the 60% point of a student's period of enrollment.
