Through innovative teaching and technology, and industry and educational institution partnerships, òòò½ÎÑÊÓÆµ is preparing a qualified workforce for the emerging wind industry with an estimated job increase of 60% by 2033. The curriculum blends on-campus, on-line and distance learning, land-lab, and field training opportunities for traditional and non-traditional students.
This educational program will produce a qualified workforce to serve the emerging wind industry throughout Kansas and the nation. Graduates of the program will possess the necessary skills to secure a position with a modern commercial wind farm operation or an industry career related to the production and utilization of wind energy.
